Yung-Hsuan is currently an independent researcher in the field of the social studies of AI. His research interests include using a sociological/anthropological lens to approach AI, untangling the complex co-constitutive ties between society and technology.
Research Theme
Dedicated to enabling a harmonious dynamic between intelligent machines and humans, Yung-Hsuan endeavors to perform the role of an ‘embedded sociologist’ while tapping into decades-long knowledge of science and technology studies (STS) and applied AI ethics.
Yung-Hsuan holds a Master’s degree in international affairs from the Geneva Graduate Institute and a Bachelor's degree in social sciences from the University of Hong Kong.
